Get background notifications badges on the Moodle App icon consistently in Android and iOS

    Description

      The badges on the Moodle App icon, indicating notifications, should have the same expected and consistent behavior in both Android and iOS: They should both be updated also in the background, when set to do so.

      Now they work as described here, and before I got the article I actually reported this as a bug since it makes no sense (and still doesn't do after reading the article.)
