Whenever an error comes up that requires contacting site support, there should be a button in the error modal to contact site support. This button should also prepopulate the form with error details when the site is using moodle's built-in contact form.

This will only be available for sites with a support page configured (which is required from 4.0).

Contacting support should also be possible from the following scenarios:

      • In the user menu.
      • After introducing invalid credentials 3 times when logging in.
      • After trying to change the password for a second time in less than 1 hour.

It shouldn't be possible to contact support from the app, in any scenario, if the feature is disabled from the LMS disabled features configuration.

Starting with 4.0, it is required to provide an email for support in Moodle sites. This email remains hidden from visitors and students, but it can be reached through a contact form in the Moodle site. Alternatively, this form can also be configured with a custom support url.

This is a good opportunity to improve many of the messages in the mobile application that just mention “contact your site administrator” with actual buttons to the support page.
