This only needs to be tested with one device, make sure that it is tested on a site with global search enabled. Forums search Open a course with multiple forums. Visit one of those forums, and you should see a search icon in the page actions on the top right (for RTL devices). Click the button and the search page should open. Try searching, and you should only get messages from this forum as a result. There shouldn't be any other types of results, and no messages from any other forums (even if they are in this same course). Forums search block Open a course with multiple forums and a "search_forums" side block configured. Open side blocks, and you should see a block rendered as a button that says "Search forums". Click that button and the search page should open. Try searching, and you should get messages from any forum in this course and forum activities as results.
