serverconnectionajax error when using hosted version of the app

When I attempt to connect to any of our mobile configured instances on https://master.apps.moodledemo.net/ or https://integration.apps.moodledemo.net/ using Chrome, I get the error Site not found, error code serverconnectionajax, error connecting to the server.

We are able to connect to these same sites using the mobile app.

Please advise if there is a setting we need to use for the hosted versions of the apps vs the actual mobile app.
