Moodle Apps - 2023 Sprint i3.0
When trying to open Apple Pages or Numbers files, these are classed as "Archive (Zip)" files rather than as "Pages" or "Numbers" files, and so can't be opened by the correct software.
If I click on "Open", I can see that the filename "example.numbers" has been renamed to "example.numbers_ee4ea87cfb2ed...", I see a "zip" icon, and the option to "preview content". If I click on "preview content", I see the container xml, but not the document.
If I click on "Open with...", Numbers and Pages are not given as options, although "ziptoolfree" is. If I "Save to Files", the file is forever more considered a "Zip" file and can't be opened with the Pages or Numbers. (If I try "opening with" other software like PDFExpert, the software unzips the file into its component xml files.)
It seems like a mimetype problem. It doesn't occur with Keynote or MS Office files, which are also essentially zipped collections of xml files.
Our tech team has been able to solve the problem when accessing Moodle via a browser, but it's still a problem on the App.
Thanks!
