      1. Create a quiz with an essay question. Make sure the essay question has "Response format" set to "HTML editor" or "HTML editor with file picker" (the behaviour of both is the same in the app).
      2. In the app as a student, start a new attempt.
      3. Click "Submit" without entering any data. Check that in the Summary of attempt it says "Not yet answered" for the essay question.

      Hi,

While testing MOBILE-4553 I saw that (using https://quizgrades.prototype.moodledemo.net) If you don't fill an essay question on the app (pex '20240306_Quiz' usingĀ student), it seems it counts as if you tried something because the final grade it is not graded yet .. so probably the appĀ is sending '<p></p>'

      Thanks!

      Isabel
