Notification message not seen when opening a push notification in the notifications page

    • Hide

This issue only needs to be tested in 1 device. Please use a phone, not a tablet.

      1. Install the app in the device and login in a site. Do NOT open the notifications tab.
      2. In that site, generate a push notification for course completed for that user (the text of the notification is: "Congratulations! You have completed the course X.". I'm not sure how to do that, I guess you'll need to create a course with completion enabled and then complete the course with that user (I recommend completing it in a browser or in a different device, that way the app stays at the initial screen like My courses). I'm not sure if it works with self completion or only with automatic completion. You might need to run cron or wait a while after completing the course.
      3. In the app, with the app open, click the push notification. Check that a page is opened where you see the notification title and the message (the course doesn't open automatically). Check that clicking the back button goes back to the list of notifications.

Some users reported that, when opening a push notification that opens the Notifications tab, sometimes the notification message isn't seen and the back button disappears. This seems to be caused by notification.mobiletext being undefined in the notification.html template.

According to our types in TypeScript this variable should exist, so we should investigate what's going on.
