      1. Create a multiple choice question. Make sure that, among other settings, you add a couple of hints.
      2. Preview the question.
      3. Restart the preview in Immediate feedback behaviour.
      4. Without selecting any choices, click Check.
      5. Verify you see a validation message, and the Check button is stil present.
      6. Now select a choice and click Check.
      7. Verify the feedback is shown (depending on the review options at the bottom of the preview pop-up) but that the Check button is no longer shown.

      12. Verify that the Try again button is not shown, but the Check button is.

This affects the following core question behaviours:

      • Immediate feedback
      • Immediate feedback with CBM
      • Interactive with multiple tries

These behaviours have a check button, and currently it is always visible, and gets disabled when the question is in a state that you cannot use it.

It would be better if the button did not appear when it was not relevant.

(This is different from when a teacher reviews a student's in-progress quiz attempt. In that case, the button should be shown disabled, so that the teacher can see what the student can see.)
